Beach Volleyball with nukes.
Realigning the troops, San Francisco Chronicle, August 17, 2004
While Western Europe has no need for resident U.S. troops, South Korea and Japan could face additional danger from a nuclear-armed North Korea should the United States draw down its military strength too quickly in that region.
How exactly are ground forces expected to stop incoming nuclear weapons?
Wouldn't sales of Patriot Missiles do these countries more good than stationing garrisons there, if the entire mission is about protecting against North Korea rather than China?
